Mr. Joel Prescod To All Instructors

Joel Prescod holds an A.S. degree in Biology and a B.S. degree in Nautical Sciences from
California Maritime Academy. Since 2002 he has worked as a professional mariner and the last
8 years as a Harbor Pilot on the Sabine-Neches waterway. Mr. Prescod is husband to Sarah
Prescod and father to 5 spirited children. Together, they have been homeschooling their
children since 2009 and have been part of the CHSEL community for 3+ years. As a follower
Jesus Christ, through the act of service, Mr. Prescod wants always to be an instrument for His
honor and glory. He has a passion to lead youth to grow into the likeness of Christ. He is
excited to share his love for God’s Word and the understanding of Biblical principles this year in
his course: Biblical Leadership.

Proverbs 3:4-6
So shalt thou find favor and good understanding in the sight of God and man.
